Our 'In Loving Memory' Service is a time for people to be able to remember loved ones who have passed away. There is an opportunity for them to light a candle in their memory, and to have their names read out.

This is a gentle service, a place to remember with love those who have gone before us.

Everyone welcome.  A celebration of God's love for the world where we will be lighting Christingles, hearing the Christmas story and singing hymns and carols. You will be given a Christingle as you arrive.

A Christingle is an orange that is decorated with a candle, four cocktail sticks containing sweets or dried fruit and a red ribbon.  The orange represents the world.  The ribbon represents God's love wrapped around the world and it is red as a reminder of Jesus' blood, which was shed for everyone.  The sweets are representations of God's creations and as there are four sets of them they can represent the four seasons. The candle represents Jesus himself bringing light and hope to our dark world.

Ash Wednesday is the first day of lent.  At an Ash Wednesday service we mark a sign of the cross in ash across the forehead of members of the congregation to remind us that we are in need of repentance.  "Remember you are dust and to dust you shall return" is said as the ash is applied to remind us of our own mortality.

Join us for this service of penitence, to start the Lenten period of fasting and prayer.

The Harvest Service is an opportunity for us together to thank God for all that he has done for us. Not just a Harvest of the land (such as food, water and so on) but also the harvest of love and discipleship in our lives.

At this service, it is traditional that people bring offerings of food and other produce to be placed on the alter. Tinned food is preferable. All offerings will be delivered to the local food bank, or used to feed those most in need.

The service will be followed by refreshments, everyone is welcome.
